The Absolute Best Time To Call Someone

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Phone tag is a time wasting game that very few like to play, but how can you avoid getting pulled into it?

For example, you've received a new prospective student inquiry from your website or a voicemail on your studio phone, etc. and now you need to reach out and talk to your prospect; when is the best time to call them?

Obviously, the best time to call someone would be on the day and time that you asked them to tell you when you acquired their name as a prospect, but very few include a "best day and time to call" question on web based lead capture forms and not many think ahead and ask the same question in their voicemail recordings, so absent instructions from your prospects about the best time to call them back, how do you decide so you can maximize your chances of connecting with them on your first call?

Text Karate To 70000InsightSquared conducted some interesting research for cold calling sales people whose daily jobs is to contact new prospects, but by reading between the lines and applying their findings to calling new student prospects (and others), then we may increase our opportunities of connecting with whoever we call when we call them and thus avoid becoming a player in a time wasting game of phone tag.

Check out their findings below and think about it the next time you plan to pick up the phone and you will know the absolute best time to call someone.

Of course another GREAT tool for knowing when to call your prospect is to simply ask them via text messaging which is super easy to do when you use www.sbdmdk.com to acquire your prospect's contact information.
