I am a certified Jo Kyo invited to test for 4th Dan and I do not possess a Kyo Sa Certification Study Kit, so do I still need to acquire a Kyo Bom Certification Study Kit 12 months in advance and complete the 12 month apprenticeship to be eligible to and take the Kyo Bom exam at my 4th Dan test?

Yes, you do.  The Kyo Bom Certification Study Kit is available to you for $297 and you will exit a successful exam as a Kyo Bom Red.

As a point of clarification, if you intend to test in 2019, the 12 month apprenticeship requirement will be waived as the Kyo Bom kit will be available in January 2019.  You will need to obtain the workbook in January to allow yourself the most time possible to prepare for 2019.
