I am a certified Kyo Sa invited to test for 4th Dan and I do not possess a Sa Bom Certification Kit, so do I still need to acquire a Kyo Bom Certification Study Kit 12 months in advance and complete the 12 month apprenticeship before my 4th Dan test to be eligible to take the Kyo Bom exam at my 4th Dan test?

Yes, you do and because you are a forward-looking member who has already acquired Kyo Sa Certification the Kyo Bom Certification Study Kit is available to you for $125 and you will exit a successful exam as a Kyo Bom Blue.

As a point of clarification, for the 2019 Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa the 12 month apprenticeship will be waived as the Kyo Bom workbook will be available in January 2019, less than 12 months prior to the testing.
